NCsoftとArenaNetは[url=http://www.gdex.co.jp/?mode=search&pattern=list&kword=Guild+Wars&kcatid=&x=72&y=3]Guild Wars[/url]の続編、[b]Guild Wars 2[/b]と新拡張パックである[b]Guild Wars: Eye of the North[/b]を発表しました。続編は前作と同様にオンラインプレイは無料となり、グラフィクスエンジンの強化や自由度の増した環境相互作用など、洗練されたものとなるようです。
Guild Warsの新拡張パックとなるGuild Wars: Eye of the Northは"真の拡張"といわれており、10人の新しいヒーローや、40のアーマーセットなど様々な拡張がされるようです。プレイするには既にリリースされているキャンペーン[url=http://www.gdex.co.jp/?mode=search&pattern=detail&catid=&kindid=&itemid=101-11397]Nightfall[/url]、[url=http://www.gdex.co.jp/?mode=search&pattern=detail&catid=&kindid=&itemid=101-11264]Factions[/url]、[b]Prophecies[/b]のいずれか1つが必要となり、プレイヤーの成果を記録します。そしてそのデータを使いGuild Wars 2でレアアイテムをGETすることもできるようです。WorthPlayingでは[url=http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=41735&mode=thread&order=0]スクリーンショット6枚が公開されています[/url]。
月額課金なしのスポーツライクなオンラインRPG、Guild Wars。続編でもテンポの良いバトルが繰り広げられるのでしょうか。今後の情報に注目ですね。
