本作は、3Dサバイバルホラーの名作『Alone in the Dark』のリ・イマジネーション版。1920年代のアメリカ南部を舞台に、行方不明となった叔父を探すためエミリー・ハートウッドと私立探偵のエドワード・カーンビーが邪悪な何かが潜む精神病棟「デルセト屋敷」を探索します。
