Rockstar Gamesは『Grand Theft Auto IV』及び『Grand Theft Auto：Episodes from Liberty City』のSteam版が3月20日より、両タイトルが収録された『Grand Theft Auto IV：Complete Edition』にアップデートされたことを発表しました。
これは、Games for Windows Live（GfWL）サポート終了によりプレイに支障が生じていた同作を更新するもの。『GTA IV』ではマルチプレイヤーモードやリーダーボードが利用不可能となるほか、一部のラジオ局が一時的に使用できなくなるとのことです。また『GTA IV』は日本語に対応していますが『Episodes from Liberty City』では未対応なので、そちらをプレイする際は別の言語を選択する必要があります。
本作Steam版は同問題を受け、先日より購入不可能に。販売再開はサポートページ（英語）によると2020年3月24日より、Steam/Rockstar Games Launcherにて行われるとのことです。
『Grand Theft Auto IV：Complete Edition』は2020年3月24日より販売再開の予定となっています。
