任天堂の『ポケットモンスター』シリーズに登場する「プリン」をモチーフにしたカスタムゲームキューブコントローラーが海外ユーザーより披露されています。
Aボタンとスティック部分、加えて何故かBボタンもプリンの瞳になっており、オリジナルの可愛らしさが一転して機械的な不気味さに変貌しているこのカスタムコントローラー。制作したのは海外デザイナーのAustin氏で、同氏はRedditに投稿されていたu/sagaisagoodcomic氏のファンアートから着想を得たとのこと。Austin氏は、同じくデザイナーであるDesign out of Shieldの協力のもと、このコントローラーを完成させたと述べています。また、同氏は「この怪物を作ることができてよかった」ともコメントしており、本人もこの不気味さにはご満悦のようです。
